More Fall Pictures

Autumn

What a gorgeous weekend! Amy and I packed up the kiddies (2 and 4 legged variety) and went to the river here in Okotoks to snap some shots. I have since decided that I will never make my million as a pet photographer. Even with a squeak toy to attract their attention, dogs are rather tough to get that quality picture.

New Camera!

I am SUPER impressed with my new camera! Heres just a couple shots I've taken while playing around.

Zac and Mags in the park.
Just a nice picture of Maggie.
And a nice one of Zac. This was just after her bailed hard on his bike - but he got right back on!
I love the clarity of the pictures!

Baby Shower!

Amy threw me a baby shower this past sunday. It was super nice to get to see everyone, there was about a dozen ladies in attendance, and a few kiddies running around as well. We just about had to postpone it though, as the Thursday before I spent most of the day at the hospital trying to find out if I was in real labor or not. Obviously I was not, but they are thinking it will happen soon. I sure hope so! This baby is gonna be one well dressed lady! This is all the goods from the shower - everyone sure outdid themselves with the gifts. They are all so special.
Belly pics! So, this is me and my friend Becky - I'm 36.5 weeks and she is 35 weeks in this picture. Just 9 days apart on the due dates! And more belly pics! Here's me and my sister Amy - but we're just goofing around, she isn't even pregnant. Just pulling one of her famous belly tricks!

Odds N' Ends

Here are just some photos I thought I'd share...

This one was taken about 1.5 hours south of home, when I was out with my parents looking at property for them to buy. I think the birds were Osprey (?) and there were babies in the nest. We were driving along, and stopped to look. Me, being ever so smart, got out of the car to get a better shot and after a few insanely loud warning screams, daddy bird here decided I was too close for comfort and started to take off to, I don't know, probably peck out my eyes. So I snapped this really fast and piled back into the car!

This is my Maggie-Mae fresh from the groomers. I am usually the one to cut her hair, but my belly is getting too big for me to do it comfortably, so she had to endure the torture of getting dropped at the groomers. But at least she came home with that cute little bandana around her neck!

This is just a cute picture of Zacs reaction to a super huge boot from his baby sister. He was quite impressed with her strength!

Zac-man by a lake, hiding in the bushes.

This is Zac and his buddy Nick outside their school on the first day of Grade 3 this year. I still can't believe he is this old. I guess it happens though!

Family Edmonton Trip

Sept long weekend - mini-family reunion in Edmonton for Mom and Dads 40th Wedding Anniversary! Mom and Dad, both my brothers and their familys, Amy, and us were able to spend the weekend hanging out. It was super nice since I don't remember the last time (other than my wedding a year ago, and that hardly counts because of how busy we all were) that we were all together.

Here's my try to get a picture of Zac and the train, only he was too interested in watching it pull away, and I couldn't snap it fast enough!

We got our family photo taken in that old time sepia western outlaw style at Ft Edmonton. Here we are just getting dressed up and Zac got his hands on a gun. He thought it was super cool!

Chris, Zac and me at the entrance to the park. I'm 33.5 weeks along at this point.

Here's my boys. Can't beleive I'm gonna add a girl into this mix! Left to right there's Zac (8) and then my nephews, Ty (12), Brandon (12), Daxton (11), and Colson (8).

This is just a funny picture. Amy is laughing so hard at something or other. Allison is pulling the 'rat' off her head. It is actually a coon skin hat with the tail AND head still attached. And I am practically dying of the heat. When we were getting ready to get the western picture taken, they asked if I wanted to be a 'saloon girl', which I thought was ok. Until they got all the other girls dressed and I noticed that I was really out of place. So this is just a shot of us getting ready - I was cooking to death in that hat. Eventually I told them that because of my belly, I was probably gonna stand out enough as it was, so I got to dress in a shirt and chaps.
